It's been 50 years since Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen left the cotton farms of Fort Payne, Alabama to spend the summer playing music in a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina bar called The Bowery. Saturday, March 1 is our Annual Wiener Dawg Race on Ice sponsored by Glo Fiber with 94.9 Star Country. Preregistration for wiener dawgs and their owners is required; contact the Dawgs office for assistance. Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs take on the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The Dawgs will be wearing specialty Peanuts jerseys that will be auctioned off. Gates open at 6:00 and puck drops at 7:05... We’ll see ya there!
