Big Lick Comic Con returns to Roanoke this February with two full days of comics, cosplay, celebrities, and pop culture fun! Fans of all ages can enjoy celebrity guest appearances, panels, artists, vendors, gaming, and more. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or just discovering your fandom, Big Lick Comic Con is the ultimate celebration of creativity and community.

Get your paws ready for the Wiener Dawg Races! Roanoke faces the Peoria Rivermen in a can’t-miss night on and off the ice. Humans must register their wiener dawgs (or small wiener mixes) in advance. Sponsored by Glo Fiber with 94.9 Star Country. Puck drops at 7:05 P.M. We'll see ya there!

• Cost: $11 + fees
• Session Length: 15 Minutes
• Age Requirements: Children must be at least 2 years old to ride the bumper cars
  • Children 2 to 4 years old must ride with an adult (no additional cost)
  • Children 5 years and older can ride in their own car as long as they are able to reach and successfully operate the bumper car controls. 
• What to Wear: The ice arena is chilly, so make sure to bring warm clothing to help make your time on the ice more enjoyable (gloves, winter hat and coat). We also recommend that you wear closed toe shoes with good traction.
