About TacoRitas! Celebrate with us on Cinco de Mayo, with live Latin music, salsa dancing, margaritas, and of course….TACOS from your favorite local Roanoke restaurants and food trucks! Choose a variety of experiences, from the ultimate VIP Package to a Margarita Tastings ticket. This year, our Zona para Niños (Kids Zone) will return with activities centered on family fun!

The vibrant and festive atmosphere will see even more fun this year with having the Festival at Berglund Center; allowing the festival to be indoors in the event of rain. With the success of its 2nd year, Taco ‘Ritas has become a must-attend celebration, promising an even BIGGER celebration this year with more vendors, bigger stage, and the best news yet – BIGGER MARGARITAS! Their controls are like playing a video game only you’re in it, and you can choose to zoom around the ice, smash into other cars in true bumper form, or simply sit and spin in circles!

Drop the puck & party for Mardi Gras Night on Friday, February 28 sponsored by Virginia Transformer! Watch the action as the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs take on the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Specialty jersey will be worn and auctioned off after the game. Gates open at 6:00 and the puck drops at 7:05… We’ll see ya there!

Saturday, March 1 is our Annual Wiener Dawg Race on Ice sponsored by Glo Fiber with 94.9 Star Country. Preregistration for wiener dawgs and their owners is required; contact the Dawgs office for assistance. Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs take on the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The Dawgs will be wearing specialty Peanuts jerseys that will be auctioned off. Gates open at 6:00 and puck drops at 7:05... We’ll see ya there!
