The 2024 Miss Virginia and Miss Virginia’s Teen Competition returns to the Berglund Center on June 27-29.
With about 50 young ladies competing for the crowns, the competitions will be riveting and entertaining.
Contestants will compete in a private interview and onstage health and fitness, talent, evening wear, and onstage question competitions.
Special guests include the current Miss America, Madison Marsh, who is also a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air Force.
The season 24 winner of “The Voice,” Huntley, will perform during the preliminary competitions on Thursday and Friday, June 27-28.
Showtime is 7:30 PM on both evenings. Huntley lives in northern Virginia and is excited to share his talents on the Miss Virginia stage.
Current titleholders Katie Rose, Miss Virginia 2023; and Addison Rhudy, Miss Virginia’s Teen 2023; will crown their successes on Saturday evening, June 29. The final competition begins at 7 PM.
Winners advance to the 2025 Miss America and Miss America’s Teen Competitions that will take place in Orlando, FL, in January.

Saturday, March 1 is our Annual Wiener Dawg Race on Ice sponsored by Glo Fiber with 94.9 Star Country. Preregistration for wiener dawgs and their owners is required; contact the Dawgs office for assistance. Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs take on the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The Dawgs will be wearing specialty Peanuts jerseys that will be auctioned off. Gates open at 6:00 and puck drops at 7:05... We’ll see ya there!
